City Offices and Services Closed June 20

EAST HELENA, MT — City of East Helena administrative offices will be closed on Monday, June 20th recognizing Juneteenth. Other City services that will be closed include City Court and Garbage Collection. For residents that normally have garbage collection on Mondays, please put your trash containers out by 7:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 21st.

East Helena Memorial Day Parade

Monday, May 30, 2022 at 11:00 a.m.

The parade will begin at 11 a.m. at the VFW Cory-Dullum Post 10010 at 117 W. Main St. and proceed east to the Servicemembers Monument in Main Street Park where the Memorial Day ceremony will be held.

Spring Cleanup May 9th – 13th

City of East Helena residents, please leave your items for pickup in the alley or on the street where your garbage container is normally picked up. Allowed items include yard waste, lumber, scrap metal, and unwanted household items.  Leaves and grass must be bagged.  Debris piles need to be stacked with metal and lumber separated. No commercial business waste will be accepted. Disposal fees: Refrigerators/freezers $20.00/each; tires (without rims) $5.00 /each. Please call Public Works Director Kevin Ore with any questions at (406) 459-3769. Liquids and hazardous material, wet paint, and normal daily household garbage are not allowed. Landlords, please pass this information on to your renters.  Thanks!

President’s Day Monday, February 21st

City of East Helena administrative offices will be closed on Monday, February 21st in observance of President’s Day. If your garbage is normally collected on Monday, it will be collected on Tuesday, February 22nd instead.

East Helena Trail and Park Meetings & Survey Wednesday, January 19th 6:00pm-7:00pm and Thursday, January 20th 12:00pm-1:00pm

City of East Helena administrative offices will be closed on Monday, January 17, 2022, in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. Residents who normally have trash collected on Mondays should put out their garbage cans by 7 a.m. on Tuesday, January 18th.
