EAST HELENA, MT — City of East Helena administrative offices will be closed on Monday, June 20th recognizing Juneteenth. Other City services that will be closed include City Court and Garbage Collection. For residents that normally have garbage collection on Mondays, please put your trash containers out by 7:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 21st.

The parade will begin at 11 a.m. at the VFW Cory-Dullum Post 10010 at 117 W. Main St. and proceed east to the Servicemembers Monument in Main Street Park where the Memorial Day ceremony will be held.
Come garden with us this summer at the East Helena Community Garden, located at East Valley Middle School. Large ground plots are currently available for season rental at $20. You supply the seeds and labor, and we provide the space, tools, organic soil and water.

City of East Helena residents, please leave your items for pickup in the alley or on the street where your garbage container is normally picked up. Allowed items include yard waste, lumber, scrap metal, and unwanted household items. Leaves and grass must be bagged. Debris piles need to be stacked with metal and lumber separated. No commercial business waste will be accepted. Disposal fees: Refrigerators/freezers $20.00/each; tires (without rims) $5.00 /each. Please call Public Works Director Kevin Ore with any questions at (406) 459-3769. Liquids and hazardous material, wet paint, and normal daily household garbage are not allowed.
