City Offices Closed December 25th & January 1st
EAST HELENA, MT — City of East Helena administrative offices will be closed Thursday, December 25th and Thursday, January 1st. If your garbage is normally picked up on Thursdays, it will be picked up on Friday, December 26th and Friday, January 2nd instead.

Residents of East Helena
If you have tree limb debris you can either take directly to Elk Horn Landfill across from Kleffner ranch, Landfill hours are Monday – Friday 7:00am to 4:30Pm. Or the city has two brush debris piles that City residents can use. The first debris pile is the dirt parking lot off of Harrison Ave just north of the city swimming pool, the second location is by the recycle containers at the wastewater treatment plant located off of Plant Road. These areas will be marked with cones. Please no household garbage, Brush Only. If you have questions please contact Kevin Ore 406-459-3769.

The Greater Helena Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) is a regional partnership that coordinates transportation planning for Helena and surrounding areas, including Helena, East Helena, and Lewis & Clark County. The MPO is tasked with developing a Long Range Transportation Plan (LRTP) to guide investments in roads, biking, walking, transit, and safety over the next 20 years. As we begin the planning process, we want to hear from you!
